Why FutureWork?

FutureWork Consulting, LLC was formed by Rhonda Brown to provide employers advice on creating future-proofed workplaces. She is a graduate of Yale Law School and Cornell University’s certificate program in Diversity and Inclusion.

I am excited about the ways that work can be reimagined to be more inclusive, engaging and equitable. My HR insights and advice are informed by two decades as an in-house employment attorney and five years as an ethics and compliance leader. As head of employment law and ethics and compliance at Macmillan Publishers I had hands-on involvement in all aspects of human resources. I created FutureWork Consulting, LLC to put my people skills front and center and offer my background in finding lawful and compliant solutions as a value add. I am a skilled counselor, and trainer, with extensive experience “seeing around corners” to design forward-thinking policies and processes to support strategic business objectives. I help firms navigate immediate workplace challenges and build toward effective, sustainable organizational change.

Whether you need HR policies and processes from scratch, help designing and implementing specific programs like pay equity, best-in-class family leave, business-aligned performance reviews, DEI initiatives, remote work plans, or assistance with employee relations, including employee investigations, FutureWork can help.
